The AFC Education Hotline takes calls Monday-Thursday, 10-4. The number for the helpline is 866-427-6033. Contains independent reviews of the NYC public schools along with many valuable tips to navigate the NYC educational bureaucracy. There is preschool education hotline Special Education Parent Center supported by the NYS Education Department serving each of the five boroughs of New York City.
These Parent Centers provide information and training, and assist parents in resolving disputes over special education services. They do not provide legal services or representation at Impartial Hearings. The EAP provides early intervention, preschool and school-age special education advocacy to children who are the subject of active child protective proceedings in one of the NYC Family Courts, and are represented by a law guardian from the Juvenile Rights Division. Provides free legal assistance for special education issues to disadvantaged children in New York City.

Through its Disability Rights Clinic, NYLPI provides information, assistance, direct representation and training to parents and advocates seeking to protect the educational rights of children. Provide information, referral, advocacy, training and support for parents of New York City children with special needs and disabilities.
